After close to 3 weeks of hospitalization, my dad was finally released and discharged to come home. He will still need to recuperate from all post-hospitalization trauma that the body endures: the muscle atrophy, abdominal swelling from his compromised kidneys, and continued acclimation to his new "ipod" for his heart. There still is a journey ahead, but at least it's a little brighter...and much more comfortable. Welcome Home Dad!
