Happy Birthday Dad....

Today is Dad's Birthday.  He would be 69 years old today. He really left an indelible mark of joy on this earth with his talent. Not only was he an architect and participated on projects at Disneyworld and Disneyland....but he enjoyed being an artist.  Thank you Dad  for your artwork that you have left for us to treasure.  (Thank you Alan & Mom for framing and passing Dad's artwork to me).

I know the 1st year is the most difficult after a loss.  There are moments where life just stops for a moment to re-live brief memories and experiences in the past....and then tears start to flow. But...there is just a great deal of comfort knowing your loved one is with you, even if it's not physically. Just a day shy of my birthday, my dad finally received his tablet where he was laid to rest...and of course, it's a reminder that he will be with us always (Matthew 28:20)

Dad- the tears we shed are just a reflection of the happiness you left us...and how much we miss you.  Thanks for your comfort and joy.... we know you are with us and that we will meet again.  Happy Birthday.
