Can we have one or two?

I keep coming across that woman who feels she is in the right to satiate her needs as a mother...and thinks the outcome of having 8 babies is okay. All I can feel is disappointment and sadness for the children...because they will be a product of their environment. Yes...this lady may profess her love for each of her children....but she is not a super-woman. Does she really think that her love is enough to provide for these kids? As for the doctor...He is a professional...he should know better. He has no ethics whatsoever in my mind. Fertility Doctors have their place, but you know exactly what happens when it's all about the money. It's unbelievable the irresponsibilty of both that Doctor and that woman. Ugh. It makes me sick. To think that there are people who struggle and have good reasons to seek medical advice to start a family....and yet, a single woman, who lives with their parents & is unemployed and already has 6 children, 2 of which need special needs....then decides she wants more, so she can earn state assistance????????? Why? What's in the best interests of the children? Shouldn't that be the priority?

Hear, Hear..my sentiments exactly and according to news reports, a lot of people feel just as you do. And, as you say, it's those poor little babies who will bear the brunt of this. Wanda
